Earlier this year, Wesbrook was honored to be selected for a meaningful project at the White Rock Fire Hall — a renovation that wasn't just about construction, but about giving back to those who dedicate their lives to protecting ours.

The mission: transform outdated open-concept bunk rooms into four private, modern sleeping quarters for White Rock's firefighters. These new spaces now offer a peaceful, well-equipped environment where first responders can rest and recharge between calls — something that's vital to their well-being and performance.

We're proud to share that the work is officially complete — ahead of schedule and with high marks from the client.

Each of the four new rooms includes:

  • A private, comfortable resting area
  • Upgraded HVAC for better climate control
  • Enhanced sprinkler system for added safety
  • Durable, modern flooring
  • A new dispatch audio system to ensure timely response

What sets this project apart is not just the quality of the build, but the significance of who we were building it for. These brave men and women are the first to run toward danger when the rest of us are running away. Supporting them — even in small ways like improving their rest conditions — is a privilege we don't take lightly.

Fire Chief Ed Wolfe shared his appreciation:

"The job went well without any issues and they completed it ahead of schedule. We are very happy with the end results. Communication with Kyle and Brandon was great — they kept us up to speed about job progress in a timely manner. There were no surprises with any aspects of the project."

This marks yet another successful collaboration between Wesbrook and the City of White Rock — a relationship built on trust, transparency, and delivering results that matter. We're proud of the work we've done here, and even prouder of who we did it for.

Here's to supporting our first responders — not just with words, but with real improvements that make a difference in their everyday lives.
